What is a Mirror dip?

This handy feature automatically lowers the passenger side mirror when reverse gear is selected. It provides visibility of the lower side of the car and helps to see the edge of the sidewalk, which simplifies parking. When driving away and speed exceeds 15 km/h or 10 mph mirrors automatically readjust to a normal position. Mind you, the vehicle must be equipped with memory mirrors for this feature to work properly.

How to enable Mirror dip?

To enable mirror dip on your VW, Audi, Skoda, or Seat you have two options all you need is an OBDeleven device and mobile application.

  • Advanced users can use their car programming knowledge and activate the feature with OBDeleven PRO/Ultimate subscription VERSION. It allows you to access vehicle computers, control units, and process required code changes.
  • For daily drivers, who don't have time or enthusiasm to dig deeper into car coding - we have prepared One-click apps. They already contain all the code, so you do not need any specific coding knowledge. These ready-made applications can easily activate or adjust various features of your car. Just turn it on or off. Check the video below for the full guide.
