What does P0014 mean?

1. Locate the camshaft variable timing solenoid, typically mounted on the exterior of the cylinder head cover or beneath it, near the Bank 1 exhaust cam.

2. Remove the solenoid and clean it with a valve cleaner. Use a multimeter to measure its resistance, which should be between 5-15 Ω. If the reading falls outside this range, replace the solenoid.
3. Inspect the valve mechanism for debris or damage, as a stuck or binding valve can also trigger the P0014 code.
