Basic Settings
The Basic Settings feature gives access to almost all vehicle functionalities and makes irreversible changes. This feature can be used to perform various calibrations – to reset existing settings or calibrations, delete learned values from control units, or test different functions and procedures.
More detailed examples include performing simple procedures like brake pad change, TPMS reset, A/C flap, transmission, and sunroof calibrations. Besides that, this feature is also available for UDS-based control units, as well as older cars’ control units that support it. And since Basic Settings involve making important changes that cannot be restored, this feature is strongly recommended to be used by professionals only.
